Hookin2Hockey is a fun and exciting way to get involved in playing the great game of Hockey, for children under the age of 10. Hookin2Hockey is Hockey Australia’s national introductory program. Hookin2Hockey provides children aged 10 and under with an opportunity to participate in Hockey, in a fun and safe atmosphere, with modified rules on a smaller sized playing area. This program is ideal for 5-8 year olds, who are new to the sport and keen to learn new things. The structure gives kids the best opportunity to learn and grow in a safe environment. Structure
- 15 minutes skills session
- 15 minutes game time – approx. 8 aside
- Quarter field
- Coaches enforce basic rules – foot and back stick

It is COMPULSORY for all juniors to wear a mouthguard when training and playing games. You can purchase mouthguards from the canteen on a Saturday morning during the season or from your local pharmacy or sports store |
